A Man Jumped off Taxi and Bridge

Around 9pm yesterday, Huangpi Dist., Wuhan City witnessed a horrific scene. A silver Citroën without a license plate suddenly pulled over and a man in the car pointed his gun at a young female biker passing by. The gunman fired three bullets then drove away. 《戊子己丑霹雳火》原名《受害者II》， 我们选取了08至09年发生在武汉楚天都市报和楚天金报上的十二对新闻来重新拍摄，这是一项难以预料结果的工作。在这十二对新闻的两两之间，有些仿佛历史 重演，有些好像似曾相识，有些则依靠一个仅有的交点联结在一起，而有些虽情景迥异，却具有相同程度的荒诞。我们用结对子的方式翻拍了这些故事，用想象的暴 力和专业的相机，强行让他们闪现出相同的瞬间，而在这一系列并置的现实背后，留下的则是双重的投影。08年和09年分属于戊子年和己丑年，借用甲子纳音中 的一句作为标题，《戊子己丑霹雳火》与前两组作品《狗年十三个月》和《受害者》相比，这种更加明显的，关于权力的游戏感让我们乐此不疲。
